Make sure you are uploading ‘themename.zip’ only.

Only solution for the error 🙂

Just check if the zip file you are trying to upload is of a theme folder and not a complete download package which may contain some other folders like child theme, help document etc..

Say for example…for theme named as Designtrail…..zip file will be of name….designtrail.zip. Look for that zip.
